ABOUT CASA PANAMA

This house was purchased by Toni Tacoma in the early 2000s from the family of the man who originally built it in 1953. All the wood was all locally milled. The hundreds of pieces of trim work you see at the top of the walls were all hand made, one at a time.

To the family, it was as much of an heirloom as it was a home. So, the concern was that the house went to someone who would not erase its character, even to the point of turning down a cash buyer in favor of Ms. Tacoma.

Their instincts were correct. Toni has worked tirelessly to bring the house along without sacrificing any of its original charm and in most cases enhancing it.

The house is solid and has a very grounded feel to it. It imparts comfort just by being under its roof. We are so pleased that you have found your way here and hope you leave restored after your stay.
